Austin Home Audio Systems: Maxtrix Audio Designs
Speakers | ELAN Home Systems
The Series 4, 6 and 8 Controller’s from Matrix Audio Designs is a multi-source, multi-room that provides convenience and ease of installation rivaled by other brands. This system will allow you to play 4, 6 or 8 sources, such as a CD player, Radio tuner or DSS satellite in multiple rooms throughout the house at the same time! So if you’re in the bathroom and want to hear the news and traffic report you can while Mom’s in the kitchen making breakfast listening to her favorite CD. This system can distribute 4,6 or 8 different sources simultaneously. The best feature of all is that it requires no additional prewiring than you normally would for a regular volume control based system and is fully retrofitable if you want to upgrade from volume controls.
With your conventional way of listening to music throughout the house, you would typically have a pair of speakers in a room with a Volume control, an IR target so you could use the remote control to change tracts, lower volume and other control features and a separate amplifier to provide enough power to the speakers throughout the house.
With a Whole House Audio system from Matrix Audio Designs, you replace your volume controls and IR targets with an attractive, intuitive and sleek looking Audio Keypad that has a built in IR target and can control any piece of equipment with the push of a button. You can adjust volume, change radio stations, change CD’s, change tracts on a CD or control your Digital Music Server. The keypads are tied into the Matrix Controller, which has its own built in amplifier per channel that is more than enough to power your speakers. All of your sources are connected through the Matrix Controller, with the result being an easy to use, affordable whole house system that will make you then envy of all your friends! When you consider that the cost of the conventional equipment (amplifier, IR system, volume controls) is close to the cost of a Matrix System and the benefits of being able to play different sources in your home at the same time, a Matrix Audio system is the logical choice.
